PORTAGE PARK — Local Goods Chicago announced on Facebook that it would auction off a hand-painted "Chicago Avenue" street sign to benefit St. Mary of the Woods School, 7033 N. Moselle Ave.
The sign, which measures four feet by two feet, was painted by Chicago-based artist Travis Clement.
Bidding starts at $50; anyone interested can bid by commenting on the Facebook post.
The auction will close at 5 p.m. Thursday, according to the post.
