CHICAGO — Two men stole a car at gunpoint from a 67-year-old woman in River North on Thursday night, police said.
At 10:25 p.m., the woman was sitting in a parked, running car in the 700 block of North Wabash Avenue when two men got out of a white Chevy Cruz and walked up, police said. One of the men forced her out of the car at gunpoint.
The men got into the woman's car and drove north on Wabash while another man followed in the Cruz, police said. Officers found the unoccupied Cruz in the 1700 block of North Clybourn Avenue after the driver hit the rear bumper of a taxi and then hit a light pole.
No injuries were reported, police said, but the woman's car has not been found.
No one was in custody.
