CHICAGO — A 57-year-old woman killed in Avalon Park in November was slain in a homicide, officials said Thursday.
At 9:30 a.m. Nov. 12, a family member found the woman unresponsive and laying on the floor of her home in the 1100 block of East 81st Street, police said. She was taken to Trinity Hospital and pronounced dead.
The woman, identified as Annette Harris, was killed by sharp force injury to her neck in a homicide, the Medical Examiner's Office said Thursday.
Detectives were investigating, police said Thursday.
