HUMBOLDT PARK — An industrial Humboldt Park home that has been featured in Playboy magazine is on the market for $1.7 million.

The entire property at 1358 N. Campbell Ave. is for sale, which includes a 4,115-square-foot home in the front, a three-flat in the back and an additional lot that is now being used as a yard. In total, the property offers eight bedrooms and six bathrooms spanning 7,151 square feet.

Some of the units on the property are being rented out through Airbnb. The new owner can either merge those units with the finished home or continue to rent them out.

Built in 1910, the home was gutted and rehabbed in the 1990s by local architect Carlos Concepcion, who sought to bring the outdoors in with large windows and 70 feet of skylights.

In 2004, the home was renovated again by current owner Jai Girard, who works as a wedding photographer. The result is an industrial feel with exposed wood, iron accents and tin ceilings.

According to listing agent Brad Feinsmith, of d'aprile properties llc., the home has been featured in Playboy magazine many times. It's situated near the 606 Bloomingdale Trail, Humboldt Park and the Damen Blue Line station.
