BRIDGEPORT — McGuane Park and Sheridan Park are coming together to offer Sheridan McGuane Baseball & Softball.
McGuane players will now have access to the athletic turf field at Sheridan Park, 910 S. Aberdeen St. — and vice versa.
The new partnership will also bring girls softball to McGuane Park, at 2901 S. Poplar Ave., for the first time ever. The league has partnered with the Chicago Rockets, led by Bridgeport native Janet Galvin.
The league is open to boys and girls ages 4-14. The All-Star Generals program is open to players 8-14.
