CHICAGO — Burglars have hit three garages in North Center and Roscoe Village in recent weeks, police said.
During the burglaries, someone got into a garage through a side door and then stole items from inside, according to a Chicago Police community alert.
The burglaries occurred:
• 11 p.m. Jan. 12-7 a.m. Jan. 13 in the 3500 block of North Claremont Avenue
• 2-8 p.m. Jan. 20 in the 3500 block of North Claremont Avenue
• 5 p.m. Jan. 23-8 a.m. Tuesday in the 3700 block of North Leavitt Street
Anyone with information about the burglaries was asked to call police at 312-744-8263.
