CHICAGO — Shootings have killed one person and wounded five since Tuesday, police said.

• At 7:42 p.m. Tuesday, a 22-year-old man was shot to death in Pullman.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 12:02 a.m. Wednesday, a 40-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. Someone found the man lying on the ground in the 600 block of North Mayfield Avenue.

The man had been shot multiple times in his abdomen and someone who saw the shooting took the man to Loyola Hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said.

• At 8:13 p.m. Tuesday, a 22-year-old man was shot in Edgewater.

• At 5:34 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Lincoln Park.

• At 2:31 p.m., two men were shot in North Lawndale, police said. The men were walking in the 3500 block of West 16th Street when they heard shots and felt pain.

One man, 24, was hit in his left leg and hand and the other man, 29, had his leg grazed by a bullet, police said. They were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and were in good condition.

No one was in custody in these shootings.

Also, at 7:50 a.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was in the 1700 block of North McVicker Avenue when he was shot in his leg.

The shooting might have been self-inflicted, police said.
