CHICAGO — Shootings killed two people and wounded 10 on Monday, police said.

• At 11:30 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot to death in Near West Side.

• At 4:27 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot to death in West Elsdon just blocks away from Curie High School.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 11:24 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in South Chicago, police said. The boy was standing on a front porch in the 8000 block of South Marquette Avenue when a man walked up and fired shots.

The boy was hit multiple times throughout his body and was taken to Northwestern Hospital in critical condition, police said.

• At 11:08 p.m., a 50-year-old woman was wounded in a shooting in Chatham, police said. The woman was standing on the sidewalk in the 7600 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when someone in a car fired shots.

The woman's face was grazed by a bullet and she was taken to Jackson Park Hospital, where her condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 9:30 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 3900 block of West Flournoy Street when two men walked up and fired shots.

The man was hit in his left leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 9:17 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in Austin, police said. The boy was walking on the sidewalk in the 4900 block of West Hubbard Street when two men walked up to him and tried to rob him.

One of the robbers fired shots, hitting the boy in his right leg, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 9:05 p.m., a 29-year-old woman was shot in Austin, police said. The woman was on the corner in the 4800 block of West Gladys Avenue when she heard shots and felt pain.

The woman was shot in her lower back and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.

• At 6:13 p.m., two men were shot in Riverdale, police said. The victims, 22 and 35, were in the 800 block of East 133rd Street when they were shot in their backs.

The men were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 6:47 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in Ashburn, police said. The man was walking in the 2400 block of West 79th Street when a car drove up to him and the man got into an argument with someone inside the car.

A man got out of the car and fired shots at the victim, police said. The victim was hit in his ankle and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The shooter got back into the car and drove away, police said.

• At 5 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was walking in the 1400 block of South Spaulding when a dark-colored SUV drove up and a passenger in the car fired shots.

The man was hit in his hip and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At 4:50 p.m., a 20-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in North Lawndale.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
