LINCOLN SQUARE — Voters in and around Lincoln Square overwhelmingly supported Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump by a four-to-one margin, and neighborhood inauguration activities reflect that bias, skewing more toward protest than celebration.

Here are several events scheduled.

THURSDAY

American Theater Company, 1909 W. Byron St., is taking part in the Ghostlight Project. At 5:30 p.m. in each time zone, people across the nation will gather outside participating theaters “to create a ‘light’ for dark times ahead and pledge to stand for values of inclusion," according to organizers.

FRIDAY

• The Book Cellar will host musician Steve Dawson and writer Mark Caro for a discussion and demonstration of the power of the protest song as a way of "transforming turbulent feelings into music."

"Many of the greatest, most lasting songs were written in response to troubled times," according to organizers.

The two will also talk about their book "Take It to the Bridge," a guide for amateur songwriters. The free event starts at 7 p.m., 4736-38 N. Lincoln Ave.

• Rock bands unite for "Art Against Hate" at Quenchers Saloon, 2401 N. Western Ave. Tickets are $10 and the 21+ show starts at 9 p.m. Swearwords is headlining the bill, which also features River Jordan, Bryan Douglas and Beauty School. Proceeds benefit the ACLU and Black Lives Matter Chicago.

Hopleaf Bar, 5148 N. Clark St., has declared itself a "Trump-free zone" and will donate 10 percent of the day's proceeds to Planned Parenthood.

SATURDAY

Neighborhood meet-ups are being organized as groups head downtown together for the Women's March on Chicago.

• The comedy collective Simmer Brown kicks off "The Countdown to Impeachment" with a stand-up comedy show, 7:30 p.m., Bughouse Theater, 1910 W. Irving Park Road. Tickets are $10 if purchased in advance online or $15 at the door if still available.

Also, Friday through Sunday only, Smack Dab bakery in Rogers Park, 6920 N. Glenwood Ave., is offering the Barack Biscuit and the Munch on Washington doughnut.

For those looking for an escape from politics, the Yoga Shop, 3880 N. Milwaukee Ave., is holding a Chill Fest, 3-8:30 p.m. Saturday, offering a series of yoga, massage and meditation workshops. Sessions can be purchased a la carte, or all three for $75.
