JEFFERSON PARK — The Copernicus Center will host a mix of classical performances from across Eastern Europe with its 10th Annual "Vienna Night" carnival gala Saturday.

The evening will primarily feature arrangements by German composer Richard Strauss, mostly known for his "light, beautiful, spiritual" style that influenced composers like Chopin and Tchaikovsky, according to the event page.

An orchestra, choir and soloists will combine for a "carnival of performances" including "arias, waltzes, duets, musical skits, polka and czardas, a Hungarian dance.

Tickets can be bought Saturday, and the show begins at 7 p.m.
