$750,000 Winning Lotto Ticket Sold At Norwood Park Deli

NORWOOD PARK — One lucky patron of a Northwest Side deli is holding a lottery ticket worth $750,000, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The Lucky Day Lotto jackpot had been growing by $50,000 each day since Dec. 30, the last time someone struck the statewide prize. The winning ticket was bought at Ada's Market & Deli, 6165 N. Northwest Highway, according to the lottery.

The winner of the ticket, marked 20-25-27-38-45, is encouraged to sign the back of the ticket and "keep it in a safe place" before submitting it the claim center at the Thomson Center, 100 W. Randolph St., according to the announcement. It can also be brought to a lottery office in suburban Des Plaines.

Per Illinois Lottery protocol, Ada's Market & Deli will be awarded an amount equal to 1 percent of the lottery winnings, or $7,500.
