CHICAGO — Shootings wounded two people on Wednesday, police said.
• Most recently, at 8:46 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in Brighton Park, police said. The man was in the 4300 block of South Rockwell when he was shot in the lower left side of his body and his back was grazed by a bullet.
The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
• At 1:23 p.m., a 21-year-old man was wounded by a shooting in Austin, police said. The man was in the 1100 block of North Massasoit Avenue when his left hip was grazed by a bullet.
The man refused medical attention, police said.
• Also, at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, a 16-year-old boy was wounded by a shooting in Woodlawn, police said. The boy was walking on the sidewalk in the 6100 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when three men or boys walked up to him and fired shots.
The boy's right hip was grazed by a bullet and he refused medical attention, police said.
The incident happened on Tuesday but was not reported until Wednesday, police said.
No one was in custody in these shootings.
