CHICAGO — A shooting in Garfield Park killed two teenage boys and wounded a 65-year-old woman, on Tuesday, police said.
At noon, the three people were in the 3400 block of West Fulton Boulevard when they were shot, police said. The teens were standing on the sidewalk when a black SUV drove up and someone inside fired shots and drove away.
A 16-year-old boy was hit in his head, back and arm and was taken to Stroger Hospital, officials said. Malik McNeese, of the 3200 block of West Walnut, was pronounced dead at 12:20 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
A 17-year-old was hit in his head and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. Stevie Jefferson, of the 3200 block of West Maple, was pronounced dead at 12:41 a.m., according to the Medical Examiner's Office.
