1 Woman Fatally Stabbed, 1 Injured In 'Domestic' Incident, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 52-year-old woman was stabbed to death and a 30-year-old woman was injured in a "domestic-related incident" in Roseland Saturday, police said.

The incident happened at 2:08 p.m. in the 9300 Block of South Wentworth Avenue, police said.

A 52-year-old woman was stabbed multiple times and was pronounced dead at UIC Hospital, and a 30-year-old woman was transported to Christ Medical Center in critical condition with multiple stab wounds to the stomach, police said.

The woman was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office as Sylvia Brice. She lived on the same block as the incident.

No one was in custody, police said.
