JEFFERSON PARK — The Gift Theatre, 4802 N. Milwaukee Ave., will stage its annual collection of 10 short plays through Jan. 15.

The 10-minute vignettes include "Love, America," a story of love and politics colliding in a Pennsylvania bar, and "Warrior," described as "a Kafka-esque plunge into the surreal real."

The show will also feature a segment by Natural Gas, the theater's house improv troupe, which performs at 8 p.m. every Wednesday.

"Ten" will show at 7:30 p.m. Friday, 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, and 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday. It will run again the next weekend, following the same schedule, until its last show on Jan. 15.
