LOGAN SQUARE — A sports bar with a chef's menu, bocce ball courts and a giant scoreboard is opening on at 5 p.m. Fullerton Avenue on Wednesday night, officials said.

Park & Field, 3509 W. Fullerton Ave., is full of vintage sports gear, along with a farm-to-table food menu, rotating craft beer list and giant TVs

Logan Square residents Dave Nalzeny, his wife Kitty Izzo, along with his brother Dan Nalzeny, who teamed up to open the bar on a site that was once a used car lot, made the announcement on the bar's Facebook page.

"We wanted to do something that really reflects what Logan Square is ... good food, craft beer, farm-to-table ... but also a place where you can watch the game," Dave Nalzeny told DNAinfo in November. "The last thing we want is to be a bro bar. We don't want neon signs. We don't want plastic cups. We want a place that is Logan Square."
