Jamil Farley, 25, Killed In South Shore Shooting, Officials Say

CHICAGO — Jamil Farley, 25, was shot dead in South Shore on Christmas Day, officials said.

At 4:28 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a call of a person shot and found the man in the 2800 block of East 79th Street, police said.

The man was hit in his back, leg and head and was taken to South Shore Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

Farley, of the 9900 block of South Clyde Avenue, was pronounced dead at 4:40 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
