CHICAGO — A 30-year-old man was shot dead in Auburn Gresham on Saturday, police said.
At 8:54 p.m., the man was found unresponsive in a backyard in the 8900 block of South Hermitage Avenue, police said.
The man was hit in the left side of his abdomen and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The man was identified as Nathaniel Edwards, of the 10600 block of South Aberdeen Street, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records.
