CHICAGO — A 44-year-old man was shot on the Near North Side Friday night, police said.
At 10:34 p.m., the man was walking down the street in the 500 block of West Iowa Street when someone fired shots at him, police said.
The man was hit in his leg and was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
No one was in custody.
