Red Line Robbers Sought By Police

BRIDGEPORT — Police are asking for help identifying three men who robbed and beat a rider on the Red Line.

At 1 a.m. Dec. 12, three men walked up to a rider on the Red Line and started to rob him. The men beat the victim, took his property and ran from the train at the 35th Street stop, police said.

Police describe the robbers as three black men, standing between 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall, and weighing between 160-220 pounds.

One of the men wore a black White Sox jacket. Another wore a red Miami Heat jacket. The third robber wore a brown jacket.
