CHICAGO — Two South Side women and a third person were killed when a luxury car they were in lost control in the South Suburbs early Thursday, according to authorities and reports.
The women were in a BMW that was speeding down a residential street in Posen when the car lost control and crashed in the 14300 block of South Harrison Avenue around 3 a.m. Thursday, according to CBS2 Chicago.
The car struck several parked cars, and four passengers of the car were ejected, reports said. A male driver was not ejected and is expected to survive along with one other passenger, reports said.
Authorities released the names of two of the women Thursday night.
One of the women who was killed is Jaquira Brown, 26, of the 6400 block of South Wood Street, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. She was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:32 a.m., the medical examiner said.
The other woman has been identified as Lanae Riley, 22, of the 1800 block of South Paulina Avenue, the medical examiner reported. She was pronounced dead at 4:14 a.m.
The third victims' name had not been released as of Thursday night.
