CHICAGO—Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will perform at Wrigley Field next summer.
The band made the announcement on Thursday night while appearing on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon."
The show is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 29, 2017, as part of their 40th Anniversary Tour.
The evening also will feature special guest Chris Stapleton.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 16.
