LINCOLN SQUARE — Businesses along Damen Avenue are staying open late Thursday night, and if discounts on merchandise aren't enough to lure folks out of their cozy homes, maybe the prospect of free booze will.
More than a dozen shops are participating in Damen At Night from 6-10 p.m. between Wilson and Argyle, many of them sweetening the deal with food and drink. The entire event repeats itself Dec. 22.
Among the deals:
• Offering 10 percent off all items in store: Orange Beautiful Studio + Shop, 4Legs Pet, District and Sockified.
• Ravensgoods is offering 20 percent off jewelry plus a free wine pouring. Delicious Shoe (Sfizi) is pairing a 15 percent discount with free champagne.
• At Alapash, get 20 percent off Christmas ornaments and alpaca throws and take 10 percent off all candles.
• Drink up at Groundswell coffee, where holiday drinks are buy one, get one free, plus there's a $2 discount on all 12-ounce packages of whole bean coffee. Take that cup of coffee or hot chocolate down to Bang Bang Pie & Biscuits, 4947 N. Damen Ave., which will be serving free samples of holiday roast biscuits and festive pie.
• Check out Maka Designs' jewelry pop-up at One Key Yoga, 4845 N. Damen Ave., which is also offering discounts on class passes.
• After all that shopping, bring in day-of receipts worth $20 or more from Damen at Night businesses and get half off a glass or bottle of wine at Ampersand Wine Bar.
