CHICAGO — A Garfield Ridge gas station sold a winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket to a lucky someone who will be taking home $600,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Mobil gas station at 5448 W. 55th St. and matched all five numbers — 05, 06, 07, 11, 21 — during the Sunday evening drawing. As per policy, the lottery retailer will receive a bonus of $6,000, or one percent of the cash prize.

The Illinois Lottery urged the lucky winner to immediately sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place. The prize can be claimed at one of the five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.

More than 23,000 players won prizes, ranging from $1 to $200 in the Lucky Day Lotto drawing.
