East Side Shooting Wounds Man, 29, Police Say

EAST SIDE— An East Side shooting left a man wounded on Wednesday, police said. 

At 3:10 p.m., a 29-year-old man was in the 10700 block of South Green Bay Avenue when someone in a red pickup truck pulled up and fired shots, police said. 

The man, who was shot in the buttocks, was taken to Advocate Christ Memorial Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said. 

The man was a documented gang member, police sources said. 

No one is in custody, police said.
