GOLD COAST — Warby Parker is bringing its frames off the internet to the Gold Coast in real life.
The hip eyewear e-tailer will open a new store Saturday at 1123 N. State St.
Warby Parker, known for its trendy designs, does most of its sales online but has opened more brick-and-mortar stores in recent years. Warby Parker opened a since-shuttered pop-up in Wicker Park three years ago and also runs a store in Lincoln Park.
The Gold Coast store features terrazzo tile, marble-topped tables and murals of Chicago landmarks such as John Hancock Center and Willis Tower.
The new store will be open from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. daily.
