NORTH CENTER — The ad hoc troupe of Merry Princemas singers, who spun Christmas caroling into a joyful celebration of his Royal Badness, are at it again, planning to lift their voices tonight at an anti-hate rally open to all.

With thousands of Chicagoans upset about Tuesday's election results, the Princemas group hastily scheduled a gathering not of protest but love.

"Let's do what we do best! Let's get together and sing our hearts out," organizers posted to Facebook.

"This is open to Prince and non-Prince lovers! Just like a Care Bare Stare, we will shoot love into the atmosphere instead of hate," the event invite said.

The tentative playlist includes uplifting tunes such as "Imagine," "What the World Needs Now" and "(Your Love Is) Lifting Me Higher."

The group will gather at 7 p.m. at North Center's Town Square, 4054 N. Lincoln Ave.

Elizabeth Stock founded Princemas as a way to thank neighbors who annually hang a "Merry Princemas" sign in their apartment window.

She explained to DNAinfo: "Princemas is all about happiness, love and community, and to inspire others."
