DOWNTOWN — A man was robbed in daylight while walking Wednesday morning near Grant Park, police said.
The man was walking at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of South Columbus Drive when two men approached, implied they had a gun, and took his belongings, police said.
The victim, 34, cooperated and the suspects fled on foot toward Lake Shore Drive, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.
Police did not disclose what was stolen. No suspects are in custody and an investigation is underway.
