Gerald Gordon, 19, Killed, Another Wounded In Roseland Shooting

CHICAGO — Gerald Gordon, 19, was shot dead and a 22-year-old man was wounded in Roseland on Tuesday, officials said.

At 12:37 a.m., officers heard shots in the 11100 block of South Michigan Avenue and found the men wounded on the street, police said.

Gordon was pronounced dead at 1 a.m. at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

The 22-year-old man was hit in his head and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, according to the Tribune.

No one was in custody.
