CHICAGO — Students from St. Francis Borgia School will present police officers with a $720 check for first aid kits Friday morning, administrators announced.

The students raised the money through a "lollipop fundraiser" and by soliciting individual donations. The money will pay for individual first aid kits for officers to keep with them.

Representatives from the Chicago Police Foundation will receive the check.

The ceremony will be held at 8:30 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Roman Catholic Church, 8033 W. Addison St.
