CHICAGO — A shooting in Rogers Park left 27-year-old Jonathan Sanchez dead on Sunday, officials said.
At 1:50 a.m., the man was leaving his apartment in the 7300 block of North Sheridan Road but then he walked back inside and told his friends he'd been shot in his back, police said. He was taken to St. Francis hospital in serious condition.
Sanchez was pronounced dead at 3:30 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
