CHICAGO — A 19-year-old man was shot in Little Village Monday, police said.
The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 3600 block of West 31st Street when two men walked up to him and fired shots, Officer Laura Amezaga said. He was hit in his left arm and left torso and was taken to Mt. Sinai in serious condition.
The man is a documented gang member, Amezaga said.
No one was in custody.
