CHICAGO — A Sunday shooting in Hermosa left 23-year-old man Samuel Williams dead, officials said.
At 7:05 p.m., the man was found in the 1900 block of North Karlov Avenue, police said. He had been shot in his face, neck, back and hand and was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition.
Williams, of the 1900 block of North Kedvale Avenue, was pronounced dead at 5:33 a.m. Monday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died of multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
