CHICAGO — Police are hosting a gun-buyback event in West Town on Saturday.
People with guns will be able to turn them in and receive a $100 gift card per gun and a $10 gift card per BB gun, air gun or replica gun, according to a Chicago Police news release. No questions will be asked about the guns, police said.
The event runs 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at New Life Covenant Church Spanish Campus, 1665 N. Mozart St.
