Man Pulled From Water After Driving Into Jackson Park Harbor

SOUTH SHORE — A man was in critical condition after driving into the Jackson Park Outer Harbor early Wednesday morning, Chicago Fire Department officials said.

At 5:38 a.m., the man's car went into the water from the 6500 block of South Promontory Drive, according to Fire Cmdr. Curtis Hudson.

Divers pulled the man from his car, and he was brought to University of Chicago Medicine , Hudson said.

Officials could not immediately provide more information on the incident.
