WICKER PARK — Vegans in Wicker Park who were looking forward to the weekly "Buy One Get One (BOGO)" deal this Wednesday at Native Foods will need to visit one of the chain's three other outposts.

The restaurant at 1484 N. Milwaukee Ave. will be closed from Tuesday through Thursday and reopening Friday, according to an email sent to customers.

A worker onsite early Tuesday said that the remodeling will include new paint.

Located on the southwest corner of Honore Street and Milwaukee Avenue, Native Foods Cafe opened in Wicker Park in 2011 as part of a trio of three buildings that replaced a demolished Burger King.

The chain has outposts in Lakeview, The Loop and Hyde Park which are not impacted by the Wicker Park remodeling.
