CHICAGO — Police are asking Marquette Park home owners to be on the lookout after a string of burglaries in the area.
There have been at least four burglaries in the neighborhood since Sept. 22, police said in a community alert issued Friday.
In each case the burglars enter through a rear door or side window, police said.
The burglaries happened at:
• 10 p.m. Sept. 22 in the 7100 block of Mozart Ave.
• 4 a.m. Saturday in the 7100 block of South California Ave.
• 3 p.m. Tuesday in the 7100 block of South Mozart Ave.
• 3 p.m. Tuesday in the 7100 block of South California Ave.
Anyone with information on the incidents is asked to call detectives at 312-747-8382.
