WEST GARFIELD PARK — A 31-year-old man was shot in the head while driving a school bus Friday, police said.

At 5:33 p.m., the man was driving the bus in the 4300 block of West Jackson when shots were fired from outside of the bus, police said.

The driver was taken to Mt Sinai Hospital with a graze wound and is "stable," police said.

No other injuries were reported, police said.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported that there were children on board at the time, but it was unclear how many.
