CHICAGO — Six people have been wounded in shootings since Tuesday, police said.

• Most recently, at 12:38 a.m. Wednesday, a 19-year-old man was shot in South Chicago, police said. The man was playing dice in a basement in the 8400 block of South Kingston Avenue when someone fired shots, police said.

The man was hit in his left leg and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition, police said.

• At 7:25 p.m. Tuesday, a 36-year-old man was shot in Roseland, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The man was in an alley in the 300 block of West 103rd Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his right leg and groin and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

• At 6:16 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Grand Crossing, Amezaga said. The man was in the 7000 block of South Harper Avenue when his neck was grazed by a bullet.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available, but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

The man was a documented gang member and was uncooperative with investigators, police said.

• At 1:20 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in South Chicago, Amezaga said. The man had just left a store and was walking in the 7900 block of South Saginaw Avenue when someone got out of a car, fired shots at him and drove away.

The man was hit in his left leg and was taken to South Shore Hospital in good condition, Amezaga said.

A person of interest was being questioned.

• At 12:55 p.m., a 29-year-old man was shot in Austin, Amezaga said. The man was standing on a corner in the 4900 block of West Hubbard Street when four men walked up to him, fired shots and ran away.

The man was hit in his right hip and was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center. His condition was not available, but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

• At 11:45 a.m., a 33-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, Amezaga said. The man was sitting in a car in the 3900 block of West Van Buren Street when two men walked up to him and one of them fired shots before they both ran away.

The man was hit three times in his torso and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, Amezaga said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

No one was in custody in the shootings unless otherwise noted.
