BUDLONG WOODS — The two men who mugged a woman Tuesday morning in Legion Park will face felony robbery charges in bond court Wednesday.

According to a report provided by police, the men — Daijon Price, 22, and Mike Freeman, 21 — allegedly grabbed the 52-year-old woman in the 3000 block of West Bryn Mawr Avenue, threw her to the ground, stole her purse and fled on foot.

The victim flagged down officers on patrol in the area, who spotted Prince and Freeman and gave chase, according to police.

Prince and Freeman were arrested, and the victim's possessions were recovered. The woman was treated for minor injuries at Swedish Covenant Hospital, having hit her head on the pavement when pushed by Prince and Freeman.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:40 a.m.

Price, of the 5200 block of South Michigan Avenue, is on parole for a previous felony conviction for armed robbery. Freeman, of the 2900 block of North Kildare Avenue, is on parole for a previous felony conviction for residential burglary.
