ENGLEWOOD — A 22-year-old man was shot to death in Englewood Saturday evening, police said.
Around 7:30 p.m., the man was standing in the 1500 block of West 56th Street when someone shot him multiple times, according to Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Lemmon said.
Police said the man was a documented gang member.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified him as Nathan V. Watson, of the 5700 block of South Ashland Avenue.
No one was in custody, Lemmon said.
