LAKEVIEW — A man was charged Wednesday after he was caught trying to break into a home in Boystown Monday evening, police said.

At 7:22 p.m. Monday, Delvon McCune, 24, was seen damaging the back door of a residence in the 800 block of West Aldine Avenue to try to get in, according to a police notice. Officers later found and arrested the man a short distance away.

McCune, of the 6800 block of South Hermitage Avenue, faces one charge of attempted residential burglary, police said.
