Uptown Shooting Wounds Man, 29, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 29-year-old man was wounded in an Uptown shooting Saturday afternoon, according to police.

The man was walking in the 4500 block of North Magnolia Avenue at 3 p.m. Saturday when shots rang out, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago police spokesman.

He was struck in his shoulder and was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in unknown condition, Alfaro said. 

No arrests have been made.
