WICKER PARK — It's another big weekend in the neighborhood.

Here are our picks for fun things to do and see.

And a new liquor license adds beer, wine and unique drinks (view the cocktail menu) to the mix. Weekend hours are to 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. At 2211 W. Party hours are 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, at 1630 N. Damen Ave.

Shop for Handmade Goods. The Renegade Craft Fair will offer over 400 booths, plus dog adoptions, screen printing workshops, food, music and more revelry. Organizers advise taking public transit, walking or cycling, as many streets will not allow parking. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. On Division Street, between Damen and Ashland Avenues.

Celebrate The Hideout's 20th Year. Get Rid of Sensitive Papers, Electronics Responsibly.  Old love letters and that 18-pound laptop can all be recycled in the Wicker Park Bucktown Taxpayer No. 33's Community Paper Shredding and E-cycling day, which is really a two-hour window, 10 a.m. to noon, A.N. Pritzker School parking lot, 2020 W. Evergreen St.

Meet "Chicago P.D." Stars at Fundraiser Honoring Slain Teen. Actor LaRoyce Hawkins and stars from two other NBC shows head to Wicker Park's Chop Shop to raise money for Patrick Lives On, a nonprofit group focused on combating gun violence in the city and suburbs. Organizer Patricia Frontain's son, Patrick Boswell, lost his life to gun violence last year. VIP tickets have sold out but general admission, $100, are available online on the Patrick Lives On website under the "events" tab. Starts at 8 p.m. Saturday at Chop Shop's 1st Ward Events, 2033 W. Go for a Dip in Bucktown or Humboldt Park. Due to a heat wave and community feedback, the city has extended hours at two public pools and beaches. Holstein Park pool, 2200 N. Oakley Ave., and Humboldt Park beach, 1400 N. Sacramento Ave., now open through the end of the month. Hours at both spots are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
