NORTH CENTER — North Center's annual RestauranTour will take your taste buds on a global dining adventure.
More than a dozen restaurants and bars are set to participate in the event, 6-10 p.m., Sept. 14.
RestauranTour "passports," which purchasers present at each venue they visit, cost $10 in advance or $15 the evening of the event. Pick up passports at the Northcenter Chamber of Commerce, 4054 N. Lincoln Ave.
Each restaurant or bar will offer a one- or two-ounce food or drink sample:
• Beard & Belly (inside The Long Room): spicy pickled egg with remoulade and bacon
• Big Bricks: smoked pork taco
• Celtic Crown Public House: molten chocolate brownie a la mode, signature cocktail "The Craic"
• Dos Riccos: kung pao chicken
• High-Hat Club: Malort
• KICK: chicken salad, KICK'n and Scream'n signature drink
• Melao: chicken paella
• Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro: award-winning riblettes
• O'Donovan's Bar: mini-burgers
• Orange Garden: crab rangoon
• The Piggery: pulled pork sliders
• Rocks Northcenter: signature blend bourbon old fashioned
• Tavern On Little Fort: mini Cuban sandwiches and fried brussels sprouts
• The Victor Bar: signature cocktail
• Zaytune Mediterranean Grill: mini falafel wrap or side of hummus with fresh flatbread
• Zia's Lago Vista: tiramisu
