CHICAGO — A man who was pulled from Lake Michigan on Monday afternoon by Montrose Harbor is dead, police said.
At 2:45 p.m., a 24-year-old man was found in Montrose Harbor by officers and members of the fire department, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was taken to Weiss Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Quaid said.
The man was identified as Ricardo Salvana, 24, of the 6700 of North Sauganash Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. He was pronounced dead at 3:40 p.m., officials said.
No other further information was available at this time, police said.
