CHICAGO — Shootings have killed one man and wounded nine people since Wednesday, police said.

• At 10:54 a.m. Wednesday, 28-year-old Travis Allen was shot dead in Englewood. He was an aspiring MMA fighter.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At midnight Thursday, two men were shot in Washington Heights, police said. The two were driving and making a turn in traffic in the 1000 block of West 97th Street when a car pulled up beside them and someone inside the car shot at them.

A 20-year-old man was hit in his head and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said. An 18-year-old man was hit in his stomach and was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital in good condition.

• At 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, a 28-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was getting out of a van in the 4500 block of West Maypole Avenue when someone shot at him.

The man was hit in his stomach. He took himself to Loretto Hospital and was transferred to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

• At 7:05 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Chatham, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

• At 4:45 p.m., a 15-year-old was shot in Avalon Park, police said. The teen was in the 8000 block of South Avalon Avenue when a person got out of a car and fired shots at him.

The teen was hit in his back, stomach, arm and foot and was taken to Comer Children's Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

• At 3 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in Austin, Amezaga said. The man was standing in the 700 block of North Lotus Avenue when he heard shots and was hit.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

• At 2:45 p.m., a 21-year-old man was wounded by gunfire in West Pullman, Amezaga said. The man was in the 12000 block of South Normal Avenue when his chest was grazed by a bullet.

The man was taken to Roseland Hospital in good condition and was treated and released, Amezaga said.

The man was uncooperative, police said.

• At 11 a.m., a 33-year-old man was shot in Washington Park, Amezaga said. The man was in the 5900 block of South King Drive when he was hit in his back and arm.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

• At 10:57 a.m., a 33-year-old man was shot and wounded in Englewood.

• At 7:15 a.m., a 42-year-old man was shot in Little Village, Amezaga said.

No one was in custody.
