LINCOLN SQUARE — You'll never look at your ink-jet printer the same way again.

Chicago Printmakers Collaborative is bringing in a steamroller to demonstrate the printing process — on a really large scale — as part of Saturday's "Drumroll" event.

The outdoor party is free and open to all, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., 4912 N. Western Ave. (rear driveway, off Lincoln Avenue).

The ink fest includes activities and entertainment for adults and children alike.

In addition to the steamroller, kids will learn how to print with vegetables and everyone can try their hand at T-shirt printing using designs created by the collaborative's artists. Bring your own shirt and the cost to print is $10 or buy a shirt on site for $20 including printing.

The jug band Strictly Jug Nuts will perform at noon and there will be a folk jam sing-along at 3 p.m.

Come hungry: Food vendors include Baker Miller, Crepes Paname and Chutney Devis.
