WEST RIDGE — A 38-year-old man was robbed and shot in his leg in West Ridge Tuesday night, police said.

At 9:25 p.m., the man was sitting in his car in an alley in the 2400 block of West Bryn Mawr Avenue when a white man wearing a button-down shirt and jeans walked up and demanded his belongings, according to a police incident report.

After the man handed over his wallet, the robber shot him in his leg and ran away, police said.

The man was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was listed in good condition, police said.

No one is in custody, police said.
