Robbers With Red Laser Sights Holding Up Bronzeville Drivers, Police Say

BRONZEVILLE — A crew of armed robbers using guns with laser sights are carjacking people in Bronzeville, police said. 

In two of the crimes, the three suspects pulled up next to parked cars, blocked them, and demanded the drivers get out of their vehicles before taking off, police said.

The robbers used a car in two of the crimes, and were on foot during another.

The suspects are armed, and two of them had handguns with red laser sights, police said.

The robberies occurred:

•At 1:57 a.m. Aug. 2 in the 3000 block of South Fort Dearborn Drive

•At 12:30 a.m. Aug. 9 in the 3000 block of Dearborn Street

•At 3:45 a.m. Aug. 10 in the 3000 block of South King Drive
